Information Allright, we're the first to admit it -- we're almost fanatical about this ballooning (and safety). In fact, we've been called "Balloonatics" more times than we can count. But the good news is that, as Balloonatics, we can tell you just about anything you want to know about ballooning. Are you one of the wonderful souls who sees us in the air and can't resist following along? Bless you. Thank you. You make it so much more fun. Ballooning is a terrific personal experience by itself, but when you join us as we land, it becomes a social event as well... Feel free to just watch, but be aware also that most balloonists (there are exceptions to every rule) are thrilled to see you for another reason: landing a balloon and packing it up are chores in the "more the merrier" category. Like an old fashioned barn raising- it's a lot of WORK (and a lot of fun)! Everyone is needed, everyone contributes, and everyone has fun. If conditions are right, sometimes we can "tether" the balloon (fly to a controlled height with ropes attached to vehicles or people on the ground) and give rides to all the helpers.
